Knee deep in the album ….
It’s been a very very busy few weeks which is why I haven’t updated the blog. There is such a long list of ‘actions completed’ (for want of a better phrase) but I think ill start off on what we as a band have completed since our last blog update on the 25th August 2022.
The fast fiction short story horror/gore book I detailed in August that will be coming out along side the album is completed. The update on this is I have had it back from the proofreaders/editors and the story remains unchanged (very very happy about that) and all the helpful tips I was given I have put into practise (after mulling over) and I can hand on heart say I am exstatic with the result.
Finally changed the book layout to A5.
I am working on presenting a small page or so from the short story fast fiction book for you to read, but as of yet I can’t decide on which page, but an excerpt is on its way soon.
On the 14th July 2022 I stated tracks 2 and 6 were complete. Well, they are, but we decided to leave them for a while and then go back to them at a later date and see what (if anything) needed to be changed, altered etc.
Track 2 - Recently we changed the baseline (massively) to better suit the feeling of the track, lock in with the drums a bit better and compliment the guitars more. There are more (way in the back) atmospherics added to the track which adds a real feeling of depth and better sits with the horror/goth/death vibe. Now this track is complete.
Track 6 - A woodwind section has been added to the already in place orchestra, adds much more depth and suspense. I re-recorded the bass section as it was recorded in B and not A - an oversight on my part, but even if I do say so myself it does sound better in A - almost as if I wrote it that way in the first place 🙄🤪🤣. Now this track is complete.
Track 5 - Bass is complete, working on orchestra, drums and guitars currently

Track 7 - Bass is being recorded
